My very favorite thing about the South Side is you just never know what beautiful treasure lies right around the corner.
I have worked at Zoltun since 2004. I’ve walked the streets dozens of times. But on my stroll back to Zoltun after our Christmas luncheon last year, I stumbled on an inspiring surprise… this intricate and super cool set of graffiti wings on the side of a building off Carson Street. I just had to stop and seize the moment (it was Christmastime after all), and I posed between the two wings. It felt very transcendental. For a split second, I was transported to another realm.
Kudos to the talented individual who created such a wonderful piece of art for all passersby to admire. Your beautiful work seemed destined and timely.
You gifted me angel wings for Christmas.
