Which pajama bottoms are you sporting today, tucked away in the privacy of your home office?

Yeah… I know a lot of us are dealing with all kinds of different challenges these days. “z [home] office” is not the same as taking the time to look all put together, getting in your vehicle, sitting in gridlock traffic, jostling for a close-to-the-door parking spot… blah, blah, blah.

Working from home does have its shortcomings, but I think we are all finding out interesting things about ourselves that we never knew before… like how many fewer cups of coffee you consume when you are actually paying for the Keurig pods. Come on, you know what I’m talking about. And how quickly you seem to be running low on toilet paper… again??? Well, join the club.

But the truth is, we are producing more work in less time. In a recent Stanford study, they found that we are at least 13% more productive than our in-office counterparts… 13%!!! Our concentration levels are higher, and our gas consumption is way lower… as are our stress levels. That’s a win-win.

Come back and visit, as I plan to share some insight and (sometimes) odd occurrences that have happened here in my home office. I hope it will inspire you to share a few of your own.

Until next time.
