Three PNC Plaza is LEED certified with high-performance glazing, energy efficient HVAC systems, and low-emission materials to create an environmentally-friendly interior.

VP of Sales and Marketing Jill Yahnite and Account Executive Beth Ezar will attend the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ luncheon at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, January 19.

The luncheon will focus on energy and its effect on the architectural, engineering, and construction industry, and the opportunities that will come from the energy “renaissance” happening in the industry.

“Pittsburgh has become a leader in the new energy economy with green jobs and innovations in alternative energy technology. In fact, Pittsburgh is one of only 25 U.S. cities to be named a Solar America City through the Department of Energy.

The Society for Marketing Professional Services’ program will focus on the increased awareness on energy performance in existing buildings. Currently, Pennsylvania City building owners are focused on reducing energy consumption through renovations and improvements. Encouraged by initiatives such as EPA’s Green Power Partnership, the Western Pennsylvania Energy Consortium, and the Pittsburgh Climate Action Plan, they are reaching out to design consultants for smart strategies like new, higher-performance facades and more energy-efficient building systems.”
